A maze of three rings with a green route finding its way to the centre

Is your website costing you customers?

Most Perth business owners we meet are not short of effort. They have a website, a Google listing and a Facebook page. What they are short of is a clear route between the three, and from there to an enquiry.

That is a maze. We are very good at mazes.

Nobody finds you

You rank on page three for “electrician Perth”, or you do not rank at all. Customers are searching right now, and they are ringing whichever business Google shows them first.

Visitors leave in seconds

The site loads slowly on a phone, the text is tiny and nobody can tell what you do or what to tap. People do not complain. They go back to the results and call the next business.

Enquiries never arrive

Even when people do land, there is no obvious next step: a buried phone number, a contact form that asks too much and no reason to choose you over the three other tabs they have open.

The detour: web, search, ads and brand under one roof

Instead of handing you to three suppliers who each blame the other, Maze Creative runs the whole route. One team, one plan and one monthly conversation about the only number that matters: enquiries.

Website design & development

Websites that load fast, read clearly and ask for the enquiry.

We design and build custom websites for Perth businesses on clean, fast code, not bloated page builders. Every page is written to answer the questions your customers ask before they call, laid out so it works one-handed on a phone, and built so Google can read every word.

  • Mobile-first design and development
  • Copywriting and page structure that sells
  • Speed, accessibility and security built in
  • Your website, domain and hosting stay in your name

SEO & local search

Be the business Perth finds first.

Local SEO puts you on the map, literally, for the suburbs and services that matter, alongside the technical and content work that lifts your whole site. We start with an honest audit, fix the foundations, then publish pages and posts that answer the searches your customers really make.

  • Google Business Profile set-up and optimisation
  • Suburb and service page strategy
  • Technical SEO, schema and site speed
  • Monthly reporting in plain English

Google & Meta advertising

Ads that pay for themselves, not just for clicks.

We manage Google Ads and Meta Ads against one number: what it costs you to win an enquiry. Conversion tracking comes first, then the ads, then landing pages that match them, and then a weekly habit of trimming wasted spend so your budget goes further each month.

  • Google Search, Maps and Performance Max
  • Facebook and Instagram campaigns
  • Call and form tracking set up properly
  • Landing pages built to convert

Brand & identity design

A look people remember and trust.

Logo, colours, type and tone of voice that make a small business look established. We build a simple brand kit so your website, ads and socials all look like they come from the same company, and so the next designer you work with has something to follow.

  • Brand guidelines and templates
  • Social media graphics
  • Website-ready asset pack

Work we’ve put on the road

A few of the Perth businesses we have worked with. The project stories below are draft copy and every figure in [square brackets] is a placeholder. Both get confirmed with each client before launch.

Peter’s Removals

A faster route to a moving quote

The challenge

Peter’s Removals had plenty of repeat work and almost no online presence. The old website was hard to use on a phone, quotes arrived by word of mouth only, and the business did not appear when people searched for removalists near them.

What we did

We built a fast, mobile-first website around a single job: getting a moving quote request. A short quote form sits on the first screen, every suburb served has its own page, and the Google Business Profile was rebuilt with services, photos and a simple process for asking happy customers for reviews.

From a PDF catalogue to a booking machine

The challenge

Bandicoot’s has a bright, playful brand that parents love, but bookings depended on people finding the right item and phoning during business hours. The hire range lived in a catalogue that Google could not read and customers could not search.

What we did

We turned the catalogue into a searchable hire range with one page for every item and an enquiry button on each. Google Ads then ran on the searches parents make the week before a party, such as bouncy castle hire, and sent them to landing pages that matched what they had typed.

Queen of Sparks

A memorable trade brand, finally backed by a website

Queen of Sparks
Industry

Services

Timeline
[00] weeks

The challenge

Queen of Sparks is a trade business with a name people remember and a brand with real personality, but no website that backed it up. Competitors with bigger budgets were collecting the “electrician near me” searches that should have been going to a local, licensed team.

What we did

We kept the personality and built the site around the jobs customers search for: power points, switchboards, split-system installs and safety checks. Each service gets its own page with licence details, service areas and a click-to-call button that stays in reach on every screen.

Your route from lost to found

Five stops, no surprises. Here is what happens from the moment you ask for your free website review.

Start with a free review
  1. Review

We look at your current website, your Google presence and your closest competitors, then send you a short, plain-English report. This is the free website review. It is yours to keep whether or not we end up working together.

  2. Plan

We agree what success looks like in enquiries, not clicks, and map the pages, searches and ads that will get you there. You get a fixed-scope proposal and a clear price before anything is built.

  3. Build

Design, copy and development happen in the open. You see a working draft early, not a big reveal at the end. We write the words as well, so you are never left staring at a blank page.

  4. Launch

We test on real phones, set up tracking and redirects, connect your Google Business Profile and go live without losing the traffic you already have. You get a short handover so you know how to make everyday changes.

  5. Grow

After launch we keep going with SEO, ads, fixes and reporting on a simple monthly plan. You get one email a month that tells you what happened, what it means and what we are doing next.

A Perth team you can sit down with

Big agencies hand you to an account manager. Maze Creative is a small, local team that picks up the phone, turns up in person and stays accountable for the result.

Local

We are on Panama Street in Canning Vale. Come in for a coffee, or we will come to you. Seeing your business in person makes the work better.

Plain English

No acronym soup. We explain what we are doing and why, and we are happy to be asked what anything means.

One team

Web design, SEO, ads and brand under one roof means one plan, and nobody to blame but ourselves when something needs fixing.

Honest numbers

We report on the things that pay your bills, like calls, forms and bookings, not on vanity numbers that look good in a chart.

Yours to keep

Your website, domain and accounts are set up in your name from day one. If you ever leave, you take everything with you.

Questions Perth business owners ask us

Straight answers to the things people want to know before they pick up the phone. Cannot see yours? Call us on (08) 9145 0004 or email hello@mazecreative.com.au.

What is included in the free website review?

We look at your website the way a customer would, then the way Google does. You get a short written report covering mobile speed, how clearly your site explains what you do, where you show up for the searches that matter, the health of your Google Business Profile and any technical problems holding you back. We also compare you against three local competitors.

It is free, it is yours to keep, and there is no obligation to work with us.

How much does a website cost in Perth?

It depends on how many pages you need and what the site has to do. A straightforward small business website is a very different job from one with online booking or a shop. After your free review we send a fixed-scope quote, so you know the full price before any work starts. If a feature is not worth what it costs, we will tell you.

How long does a new website take?

Our tradie and starter websites are built within a week. Larger custom websites take longer, and your fixed-scope quote includes a clear timeline before any work starts. The biggest variable is how quickly we receive photos, content and feedback. If you would rather not write the words yourself, we handle the copy too, which usually saves time as well as stress.

How long does SEO take to work?

Local SEO improvements, such as a better Google Business Profile and fixing technical problems, can show up within a few weeks. Ranking for more competitive searches usually takes three to six months of steady work. Anyone promising page one in a week is guessing or cutting corners. We show you the enquiries coming in so you can judge progress yourself.

What is the difference between SEO and Google Ads?

SEO earns you a place in the free results over time. Google Ads buys you a place at the top straight away, and stops the day you stop paying. Many Perth businesses start with ads for quick enquiries while SEO builds in the background. We will recommend whichever mix suits your budget and your market.

Will I own my website, domain and accounts?

Yes. Your domain, hosting, Google accounts and ad accounts are set up in your name, and we are added as users. If you ever decide to part ways, you take everything with you. We would rather earn your business every month than lock you in.

Do you only work with businesses in Perth?

Most of our clients are in Perth and Western Australia, and being local is a big part of how we work: we can meet in person, we know the suburbs and the competition, and we understand how Perth customers search. We also work with businesses elsewhere in Australia, mostly over video call.

Can you redesign my site without losing my Google rankings?

Yes, and it is one of the most common jobs we do. Before anything changes we record which pages already bring in traffic and enquiries. We keep the content that works, redirect every old address to its new home and check in Google afterwards, so you do not trade a good-looking site for an invisible one.

What happens after the website goes live?

You can take the site and run with it, or stay with us on a simple monthly plan covering updates, security, SEO and ads, depending on what you need. Either way you get a short handover so you know how to change a phone number, add a photo or publish a post.

What do you need from me to get started?

A website address (if you have one), a rough idea of what you want more of, and about ten minutes to fill in the review form. That is it. If you do not have a website yet, tell us about your business and we will work from there.

You’ve arrived. Get your free website review.

Tell us about your business and your website. We will come back with a short, plain-English review of what is working, what is not and what we would fix first.

  • How fast and easy your site is to use on a phone
  • Where you show up on Google for the searches that matter
  • The health of your Google Business Profile
  • Whether your message and next step are clear
  • Technical issues: security, broken links and indexing
  • How you compare with three local competitors

What you get: a short written report within [X] business days, and the option of a 20-minute walkthrough in person in Canning Vale or over video call.
